North 7th Street Historic District

The North 7th Street Historic Residential District is one of Grand Junction's most treasured neighborhoods and the only residential neighborhood in Mesa County listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Added to the National Register in 1984, the district showcases some of the city's finest historic homes and represents the architectural and cultural heritage of Grand Junction's early growth.

Stretching along North 7th Street between White Avenue and Hill Avenue, the neighborhood is known for its wide, tree-lined boulevard, grassy center median, generous setbacks, and beautifully preserved homes. The district developed primarily between 1893 and 1929 and features an impressive collection of Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Craftsman, Mission Revival, and other early twentieth-century architectural styles.
